While Mark Canfield was working on a documentary, an undercover officer pulled a gun on him. At gun point Mark was told to quit the sociology research. He had spent years preparing for this documentary only to find every person he planned to interview would soon go missing or die mysteriously. With all hope and money gone, Mark went with the whim of his Polish-American cameraman towards an opportunity of fortune and fame. They drove across the country to Joe Exotic's zoo and reality TV show. Without knowing their fate, they left everything behind for an insane adventure.
