Briseis has a unique gift: with just a slight touch, she can make plants grow from tiny seeds into beautiful flowers. It can be hard to control. When her aunt dies and she learns that she has inherited a run-down farm in rural New York state, she decides this is the opportunity to let her special talent run wild. The new place turns out to be a little sinister and she finds a strange manual with instructions, a garden filled with some of the most poisonous plants in the world, and generations of secrets.
