Every day, selfless people do extraordinary things. Their stories rarely get told. A young boy, Marcel Schmetz, and his family live under the Nazi boot for over four years. Young American soldiers from the Big Red One liberate their village and later bivouac on their dairy farm. It changes Marcel's life and, with his future wife, he builds a museum dedicated to his heroes. Many of those heroes return five decades later to cement a life-long friendship and steadfast dedication to the museum.
