I wanted to write a children's book for new dads. When I became a dad, I was terrified. With all three kids, terrified. During the first year, I would talk to my kids, a lot, and I found it calming. I still remember holding each new baby and making them promises of everything we would do together. Most promises have been met, while some are still down the road. This book is meant to help new dad's embrace this new relationship, as well as look forward to the future joys of parenting. It's a jumping off point for each new dad to start thinking about the promises he wants to make to his new child.
