In a few narrations, Sūrah YāSīn has been referred to as the Heart of the Quran because of its eloquence, beauty, clarity, and emotiveness. The heart is the most important organ of the body. Similarly, the spiritual heart is the most important part of our soul. The spiritual heart is the center of faith, understanding, recognition, God-consciousness, and spirituality. Sūrah YāSīn explains the fundamental beliefs of Islam in a very eloquent, beautiful, and effective style allowing its message and meanings to penetrate the heart. Soundness of faith rests on acknowledging resurrection and judgment and this sūrah details life after death in the most emphatic and effective way. It also contains overwhelming proofs, decisive signs, subtle meanings, eloquent admonition, and stern warnings that stir one's heart.
