This is a bizarre portrait of the everyday leisure activities of a lakeside community in the Czech Republic. Evžen Sobek’s works are in numerous collections, among them the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. The series "Life in Blue“ was shown at Blue Sky Gallery, Portland, and Dumbo Gallery, New York, in 2011.
