, a 2004 Suma Cum Laude graduate from the Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor of Arts in Film Scoring, previously scored The Hills Run Red and Return to House on Haunted Hill, both of which also have had soundtrack albums, so he certainly knows his way around writing music for lower-echelon horror movies. Not surprisingly, his work on Mirrors 2 is both thoroughly professional and utterly unoriginal. The music supports the suspenseful and climactic moments in the video, along with occasional calm interludes (e.g.,
"Kayla"
).

employs a medium-sized orchestra, leaning heavily on the low notes of the strings, of course, and mixes in synthesized sound effects in the form of what sounds like industrial noise. He also uses a couple of singers,

, to suggest the plot, which involves a dead girl somehow hidden within a mirror who manages to reach back and take revenge on her killers. "The vocals within the score represent the missing girl, and her calling from beyond," notes the composer in a press release. ~ William Ruhlmann
