Party Jams, Vol. 1
is an enjoyable collection of pulsating dance club music that splits its time between club classics and new singles by up-and-coming artists. The song selection is wildly uneven and much of this music sounds a little thin when separated from the club floor, but there are plenty of great things here -- from
Black Box's
"I Got the Vibration"
and
Ultra Nate's
"Free" to Kim Sanders' "Jealousy" and
DJ Bobo's
