The Collegiate Bear debuted in 1996 in the form of a Steiff plush bear and, six years later, was voted by Polo Ralph Lauren fans to appear on a sweater for the first time in Ralph Lauren history. Now, the Collegiate Bear is back and with a few stylish updates, tortoiseshell glasses, and a Polo-emblazoned pullover. Like the original, the hand-stitched “RL” initials at the hem are in the same shade as the bear’s pink Oxford shirt.
