Twelve year old Wendy is delighted when her favorite cartoon characters from the 80's travel to her front yard in the 90's. Wendy and the Sprites get into all sorts of mischief, to the consternation of Wendy's Aunt Zelda, with whom she lives. Whether it's destroying a toy store, disrupting a movie theater or crashing their favorite talk show live broadcast ... the Sprites are behind the trouble. A villainous cartoon character called Wowzer also time travels from the 80's. His evil plot is to brainwash the nation's children into being racist. Wendy and the Sprites realize it's time to grow up, stop fooling around, and figure out a way to take down Wowzer before it's too late.
