Bill has the most important and most taken-for-granted job in the village. As a keeper of the light, he must make sure to never let the fire in his lamps go out. The creatures are watching, waiting for their chance to escape into the village and terrorize the humans. The creatures can survive by living off of the human's fears, but nothing can satisfy them like making a kill. When a careless act by one of the keepers gives them their chance, the whole village will be in danger.
