A coming-of-age love story that takes place between 1968 and 1983, based on the 43-year relationship between the author and his wife. It is a tale hopefully reminiscent of 'The Wonder Years', but with a healthy dose of the strange and changing attitudes and events of the 1970's. Finally it is a story of letter writing, perseverance and travel to Australia and Southeast Asia when the author and his future wife were apart for two and a half years.
