"What Pattern is on Annie?" is a fictional tale about cultural diversity. Using textile patterns as an analogy for cultural and ethnic differences, we follow Annie Armadillo, with help from Sherlock Snake, to find where she belongs. Sherlock leads Annie through many lands and talking animals until she unlocks the puzzle to her problem. As Annie studies the patterns of the various characters and places she discovers just who and where her family is! Although this book was created for children it makes a great reference book for teachers and students of textile fabric designs.
